So what movies do you folks like? I am a freak for film. Not a cinephile per se, but more of a B-Movie, Grindhouse, Exploitation, Drive-In fan! I love schlock. I dig the genres of fantasy, science fiction, and my all time favorite being horror. Joe Bob Briggs and Elvira were two of my movie idols growing up.
If I were to do a quick top ten, and believe me, this is always changing...but I'll give a taste of what goes through my head heh.
10. Madman 1982, Joe Giannone 9. Demons 1985, Lamberto Bava 8. Cannibal Holocaust 1980, Ruggero Deodato 7. Deathstalker II 1987, Jim Wynorski 6. Conan the Barbarian 1982, John Milius 5. The Warriors 1979, Walter Hill 4. The Hobbit 1977, Rankin and Bass 3. Zombi 2 1979, Lucio Fulci 2. Dawn of the Dead 1978, George Romero 1. Anthropophagous, the Grim Reaper 1980, Joe D'Amato
*I'm a huge collector of Video Nasties. I almost have all of them owned, but have seen them all! I think our UK friends may have heard of this list more so than us here in the U.S.
And I leave you with this wonderful theme from the ever schlocky Terrorvision 1986 and produced and musically scored by my favorite Band brothers Charles and Richard!

Ahaha! I love the video you posted. You like some real old horror films! I really, really like horror. Although mostly ghost type or psychological ones, I'm not a huge fan of gore unless it's based on Jack the Ripper! I don't watch (or know!) most of the oldies though. I think I need to change this. From your list I'm wondering if you know Troll 2? I feel like I need to post a video of one of my favourite scenes either way! Hmm, a top ten list of films. That is going to be really tough!I know Alien and Memoirs of a Geisha (also one of my favourite books) would be on there. Pan's Labyrinth because it has one the scariest monsters I've ever seen in it. Oh, gosh, Labyrinth! Of course. Kill Bill has one of my favourite movie scenes ever in it. O Brother, Where Art Thou? For sure. True Romance... Hook. Okay I'm going to list those ones and then probably change them and add to them! Alien Memoirs of a Geisha Labyrinth Pan's Labyrinth Kill Bill O Brother, Where Art Thou? True Romance Hook All the Disney films forever and always

Troll 2 is made by one of my favorite Italian gore directors Claudio Fragasso and his wife Rossella Drudi!! I absolutely love Italian horror from the 80s and 90s!! It is perhaps one of my favorite genres/styles of film. Joe D'Amato, who was a frequent partner with Fragasso produced Troll 2, he is another of my favs...here is a vid from one of their others...hehe...

O Brother and Alien are truly awesome. Alien and Aliens are two of my all time favorite sci/fi-horror suspense films. O Brother is just comedic gold and really good overall. Disney...my brother and I dig the older films like Robin Hood, "O de lally", can't help but sing along every time! !!! Labyrinth...how can you not like David Bowie as master of the maze lol!.

This is another quick Italian knockoff, by the same crew I mentioned. They used the music from Dawn of the Dead by Goblin. The dubbing is ridiculously funny. And you mentioned ghost stories or psychological, I wonder if you've seen The Haunting, the 1963 version or 1973's The Legend of Hell House? Those two are big on my list.
