I wonder if anyone has ever seen this movie? I'm not sure how old you folks are or if you had older siblings/family who watched this old film? Hawk the Slayer! It is totally awesome and bad. Jack Palance is a total ham and the movie plays like such a bad D&D session. One of my favorites...if you couldn't tell by me listening to the music.

Yes! Pretty much everything Palance is in he gives it his all. He was in Gor the movie, based on the John Norman books of the same name. The movie was really bad, but Palance who was only in it for a bit, was just awesome. He was also in the Amicus production, Torture Garden...soooo good! He was awesome in that as well. (I love the old Hammer Films and their rival Amicus by the way). Sorry I can easily get sidetracked. Ha. But my all time favorite Palance was in Young Guns. Maybe because I'm partial to the 80s. Anyway, yeah Jack Palance, one of my favorites. The man is a consummate actor, no matter the quality of film, he gives it his all. I think actors like him are very rare, it was sad when he passed. Speaking of...Palance, in his talents and dedication, reminds me a lot of John Rhys Davies. He is another brilliant actor who just provides talent regardless of of circumstance.
